Job Description
About The Role
We are looking for a new Field Sales Representative to join our growing team at Arrow Electronics. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across a defined territory, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal technical teams to identify design opportunities, deliver value-added solutions, and support customers throughout the product lifecycle. While this is a remote-based position, we strongly prefer candidates located in Northern UK, as regular business travel across the region will be required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies by identifying critical markets, target customers, and new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, identifying design opportunities and supporting customers in overcoming business and technical challenges.
- Drive demand creation activities and promote the full Arrow portfolio, including supply chain, engineering, lifecycle, and value-added solutions.
- Develop strategic account plans for assigned customers and execute initiatives that drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead customer business reviews and present recommendations to improve sales performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers and internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
- Collaborate with suppliers, Field Application Engineers (FAEs), and internal sales teams to maximize design wins and customer value.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective account management and supply chain support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and key business partners.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking using CRM and sales management tools such as Salesforce and Oracle.
- Achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets aligned with the sales compensation plan.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
