Role Description

This is a full-time Field Sales Representative role based in the Greater Northampton Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Field Sales Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities, visit customer sites, and present Excelerate’s pallet wrapping and end-of-line packaging solutions.   • Conducting product demonstrations
  • Preparing proposals and quotations
  • Negotiating pricing and contract terms

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated field sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, packaging, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and account management, with the ability to manage a sales territory efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including confidence in delivering product demonstrations and value-based proposals.
  • Comfort with hybrid working, including travel to customer sites across the Greater Northampton Area and effective remote work practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize opportunities and meet sales targets.
  • Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into clear customer benefits, especially around efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and standard office software to track activities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with service, engineering, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales and a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals; formal sales training is an advantage.
  • Relevant education in business, engineering, or a related field is beneficial, but equivalent experience will be considered.
