Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: East Midlands

Salary: Commission based role

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: Sales Manager


Job Overview:

As a Double Glazing Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling high-quality double glazing products to both residential and commercial clients. You will work closely with potential customers to understand their needs, provide product knowledge, and offer tailored solutions. Your goal will be to increase sales, build strong customer relationships, and drive the company’s success in the double glazing market.

This role is covering all areas of the East Midlands: Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new sales leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and marketing activities.
  • Meet with prospective customers to assess their needs and provide detailed information on double glazing solutions, including windows, doors, conservatories, and other related products.
  • Present and demonstrate products, explaining the benefits of energy efficiency, noise reduction, and security features.
  • Provide accurate price quotations, handle objections, and negotiate terms with customers.
  • Close sales and ensure the customer’s satisfaction with the product and service.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure the installation process runs smoothly and address any post-sale concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product offerings, and competitor activities.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and events to promote products and generate new leads.
  • Work closely with the installation and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the home improvement, construction, or double glazing industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and proactive in finding new opportunities.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals effectively.
  • Knowledge of double glazing products and their benefits is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
  • Full UK driving license (if applicable).
