Role Description

The Field Sales Specialist role is an on-site position based in Edinburgh. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting in-person meetings with prospective clients, and presenting Expert Payment’s solutions, including card machines, EPOS systems, and payment services. The Field Sales Specialist will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

  • Maintaining a sales pipeline
  • Conducting product demonstrations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to address client needs
  • Providing regular updates on market trends and customer feedback
  • Consistent follow-up with clients to build long-term relationships and support ongoing customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, understand their needs, and provide clear, supportive guidance.
  • Proven experience in Sales and Lead Generation, with the ability to manage the full sales cycle and meet or exceed targets.
  • Knowledge of Sales Operations, including pipeline management, reporting, and use of CRM tools.
  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably within payments, financial services, or technology solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, organize schedules efficiently, and travel within the Edinburgh area as required.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with a focus on consultative selling and solution-based conversations.
  • Basic understanding of payment processing, card terminals, and EPOS systems is an advantage.
  • Relevant education or training in business, sales, or a related field is beneficial.
