Field Sales Specialist - FMCG - London - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Our client is a global FMCG market leader with 20+ years of success and an impressive portfolio of retail partnerships.

Following continued growth, they’re looking for a Field Sales Specialist to manage and grow existing accounts, drive sales and distribution, and build strong relationships with retail teams.
You’ll educate customers on products, support visual merchandising and identify opportunities to maximise account performance and revenue.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, ambitious and commercially driven sales professional looking to build a long-term career with a growing global business.
This is a field-based position covering Southwest London and is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities
- Manage existing retail accounts in the field, identifying opportunities to increase sales, distribution and overall account growth.
- Achieve agreed KPIs, including site visits, product availability and distribution targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and retail leaders across customer accounts.
- Ensure retail leaders and wider teams have strong product knowledge and understand the importance of product placement and availability.
- Support customers with visual merchandising and product positioning to maximise account performance.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and handle objections effectively.
- Gather and report pricing, distribution and competitor information to relevant internal teams.
- Identify and pursue additional commercial opportunities where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and account objectives are achieved.

The Successful Candidate
- 12+ months' experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Previous experience within the FMCG sector would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- A commercial mindset and the confidence to identify and act on growth opportunities.
- A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points – essential.
- Be based in Southwest London and comfortable travelling across the territory.
Field Sales Specialist Package
- Basic salary: £38,000
- OTE: circa +£10,000
- Home set up including phone and laptop
