Field Sales Specialist – FMCG Manufacturer
We are representing a leading FMCG manufacturer with a strong international presence and an annual turnover of approximately £5 billion. The company places a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing and has achieved multiple Global Top Employer certifications.
The business is seeking a Field Sales Specialist to manage and develop a portfolio of existing off-trade customers, including convenience stores, grocery retailers, and petrol stations. The role will focus on strengthening customer relationships, improving product availability and distribution, managing trade agreements, and delivering effective visual merchandising across the territory.
This is a field-based position covering Horsham, East Grinstead, and Haywards Heath, with the successful candidate typically spending four days per week visiting customers and one day working from home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
- Achieve key performance indicators relating to customer visits, product availability, distribution, and sales performance
- Collect and analyse pricing, distribution, and market data, sharing relevant insights with internal teams
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and availability
- Educate store managers and teams to increase product knowledge and brand awareness
- Identify opportunities to improve product placement, distribution, and overall sales performance
- Manage and execute agreed trade agreements and promotional activity

The Successful Candidate:
- Field sales experience is ideal but any candidates with B2B or B2C sales experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates who currently work in retail are also encouraged to apply
- Full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Based within a commutable distance of the territory
Field Sales Specialist Package:
- Basic salary: £35,500
- OTE: Approximately £10,000 additional earning potential
