About the role
- Perform scheduled maintenance visits and corrective repairs, as directed, on medical devices.
- Perform warranty repairs, as directed, on medical devices.
- Perform installation and commissioning activities, as directed, on medical devices.
- Perform technical corrective actions, as directed, on medical devices.
- Complete required company documentation, such as electronic test procedures, as necessary.
- Provide feedback of the quality situation and any issues from field to the Service Management Team via regular meetings within local team.
- Work within the processes of Draeger’s quality system & work instructions.
- Track installed base accuracy and report variances to Service Support Team.
- Provide support to sales for replacement / special sales programs.
- Provide support to sales and marketing for congresses, exhibitions, demos, workshops, etc.
- Provide support to sales to develop contracts and assist in achievement of business goals.
- Maintain company assets such as laptops etc. & tools in accordance with company guidelines.

Reporting Relationships
- Manager - Regional Service Manager
- Size of team/environment - Size of team/environment - Close area team of 6 engineers working within a larger region of 21 multi-disciplinary engineers across the North of England.
- Opportunities to work in and with a variety of interesting industries, completing challenges and tasks to support colleagues and customers providing an expected high level of service.
Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
HNC or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or related subject is essential.
Related Experience
Previous relevant experience, typically gained over a period of two years or more, is ideal.
Applicants for the position should have proven experience over a wide range of capital equipment & systems. Ideally with experience of medical or safety related devices and background.
