Field Service Engineer: Garage Equipment
Southeast: Ideally based in Essex or Kent
GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 + Overtime + Door to door paid travel
A well-established and growing garage equipment wholesale business is looking to add an experienced service engineer to cover a regional patch, working on a catalogue of top of the range garage equipment.
This role is focused in the Kent and Essex area, with travel further afield when required. You'll be joining a team of 30 Service Engineers, supporting a wide range of clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with field service experience, either working on garage equipment or other transferrable service work. You'll be exposed to a variety of equipment types, manufacturers, and customer environments, making this a varied and rewarding field-based position.

- Installation, service, maintenance and repair of garage equipment
- Fault finding and breakdown response across customer sites
- Planned preventative maintenance and inspections
- Working on a wide range of equipment
- Covering a regional patch
The Candidate
- Previous experience working on Electromechanical/Hydraulic equipment
- Could be from transferrable industries, e.g., a forklift engineer or car mechanic
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
Package
- GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 basic salary
- Regional travel
- Overtime available
- Realistic OTE of well over GBP40,000
- Ongoing support from a large, experienced engineering team
