Complete Technical Solutions are a market leader in managed IT services for the retail and hospitality sectors. We specialise in installation, maintenance, repair, configuration and staging of IT equipment for some of the UK's largest retailers.
Driven by customer satisfaction and supported by a dedicated, hard-working team, we continue to grow and are now looking to expand our Field Service team.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer (EPOS), you'll be working on customer sites across the UK, carrying out the replacement and swap-out of retail IT equipment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring regular travel and a professional, problem-solving mindset.
Typical working hours for scheduled calls are 08:30 - 17:30, with work rostered across 5 days out of 7, including alternate weekends.

A clean UK driving licence is essential, as extensive driving is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site EPOS and retail IT equipment swap-outs in line with customer contracts
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times
- Collect required parts from courier depots when necessary
- Maintain, audit and manage van stock accurately
- Follow all company procedures for parts handling, repairs and returns
- Use the company call management system via web or mobile correctly
- Complete all paperwork accurately and in line with customer requirements
- Support project work and installations as required
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures on customer sites
- Maintain company vehicle in a legal and roadworthy condition
- Attend Head Office for training and meetings when required

- Confident working with Windows and IT systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Calm under pressure with a strong can-do attitude
- Professional appearance and customer-focused approach
- Defensive driving skills and a clean UK driving licence
