Full Job Description:
Join one of the North West's fastest-growing tail lift specialists.
Titan Tail Lifts is an ambitious, independent company that has experienced rapid growth since launching less than two years ago. We've built a reputation for delivering first-class tail lift repairs, servicing, LOLER inspections and breakdown support, and we're now looking for an experienced Tail Lift Engineer to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who wants to play a key role in a growing business where hard work, professionalism and commitment are genuinely recognised and rewarded.
The role is primarily mobile, covering customers across the North West of England, as well as workshop-based duties supporting repairs, refurbishments and vehicle preparation.
The Role:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing faults on a wide range of tail lifts, shutter doors and moving deck systems.
- Installing lifting equipment & shutter doors.
- Carrying out repairs, servicing, LOLER inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Responding to customer breakdowns professionally and safely.
- Completing job sheets, inspection reports and service documentation accurately.
- Participating in the company's out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
- Supporting workshop operations when required.

About You:
We're looking for someone who:
- Tail Lift Engineering: 5 years preferred. (Candidates with strong relevant engineering experience will also be considered).
- Has proven experience repairing and maintaining commercial vehicle tail lifts.
- Can confidently diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Is organised, motivated and has excellent problem-solving skills.
- Is professional, reliable and customer-focused.
- Is willing to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Is flexible and willing to work overtime when required.
- Holds a full UK Driving Licence (required).

Desirable Experience:
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
- Moving deck systems
- Dhollandia, DEL, Anteo, Ratcliff Palfinger, Zepro, Bär Cargolift or similar manufacturers.
- LOLER inspections and compliance.
- Hydraulic and electrical fault finding.
- Welding or fabrication (advantageous but not essential).

Salary:
Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
