Field Service Engineer – East Bury
£33,280 – £37,440 + Overtime + Commission Opportunity + Company Van + Fuel Card
40 Hours Per Week | Permanent
NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Grantham and the surrounding areas for an established specialist equipment business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites, and solving technical problems in the field.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of specialist equipment at customer locations, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Complete planned preventative maintenance
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs
- Carry out inspections and safety checks
- Complete service reports and maintenance records
- Build strong relationships with customers
- Provide professional technical support
- Maintain high standards of health and safety
About You
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Plant Engineer, or similar
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
- Good hydraulic fault-finding ability
- Electrical/diagnostic experience
- Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural, or specialist equipment
- Comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence
