Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
Location: South of England, UK-Wide Travel Required

As part of an exciting period of expansion, they are looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer to support their growing UK customer base. This is a newly created role, providing a unique opportunity to shape and develop the position while becoming a key part of the company's future success.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and technical support of high-value aesthetic laser systems across the UK. You will work closely with customers, ensuring equipment operates to the highest standards while delivering exceptional levels of service.
This role offers significant autonomy and variety. Some weeks will involve extensive travel and multiple customer visits, whilst others may be quieter, making flexibility and adaptability essential.

Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of aesthetic laser systems
- Planned preventative maintenance and servicing
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of complex electro-mechanical equipment
- Providing customer training and technical support
- Managing service reports and documentation
- Building strong relationships with customers and clinical users
- Working closely with internal support, applications, and commercial teams
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives as the UK operation continues to grow
About You
We are keen to speak with experienced field service engineers who have worked within laser technology, medical devices, or other highly technical customer-facing environments.
Ideal Backgrounds Include
- Aesthetic laser systems
- Ophthalmic laser systems
- Medical laser equipment
- Medical device field service
- Optical, photonics, or laser technologies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer
- Strong electrical and electronic fault-finding abilities
- Experience working on laser-based or medical technologies is highly desirable
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in the South of England
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK
- Flexibility to accommodate varying workloads and travel schedules
- Ability to travel internationally when required
