To adhere to all Nilfisk policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and attend or update any mandatory training, as necessary. Be aware of the responsibilities placed upon them under the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974), to ensure that the agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors. Take relevant actions consistent with role and responsibilities to protect the environment and climate in line with the Environmental Management System (EMS). Understand and adhere to legal obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018 (the ‘2018 Act’) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) in respect of data privacy and security.

At Nilfisk, we are one of the UK's leading suppliers of industrial cleaning equipment, and we are recruiting for a suitable person to undertake a dual role within the company. The roles include demonstrating and installation of our products at client’s sites along with staff training and then also as a Field Service Engineer, you'll be working on customer sites throughout Central Scotland, making sure that everything is running smoothly.
Your role will involve completing all repairs within contracted service level agreements, which means you'll be making follow-up calls to install additional parts, performing Portable Appliance Tests (PAT), and carrying out scheduled planned maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Always follow all workplace procedures correctly, including Health and Safety rules and technician procedures.
- Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real-time".
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit.
- Order parts via our central database and maintain van stock levels.
- Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to an extremely high standard.
The key responsibilities of the Demonstration/ Installation include:
- Liaising with sales colleagues to deliver equipment to customers sites.
- Maintain demonstration machines after use.
- Can speak clear and confidently to groups of people when installing and training on equipment.

- The ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard.
- Adapt to different work environments, working with different machines and equipment.
- Work well with others, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
