About This Role
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer, Forklift Engineer, or Mobile Engineer looking for your next opportunity in Material Handling? As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll service, diagnose, and repair forklift trucks at customer locations across South East London and Essex, working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Diagnose, repair, and service forklift trucks safely, economically, and with minimal supervision.
- Examine equipment and report on its condition, repairs completed, parts used, and time taken.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and your service vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.
- Build positive relationships with designated customers while representing Dawsongroup professionally.
About You
You’ll bring strong mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment and the ability to work confidently across diesel, LPG, hydraulic, and electronic systems. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can operate independently while maintaining high standards of safety and care.

- Fully skilled engineer with relevant material handling experience.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently, safely, and to a high standard.
