Field Service Engineer (Access Equipment)

Basildon

£40,000 - £45,000 + Company Van with private use + Fuel Card + Tech Package + Manufacturer Training Provided + Great On-Site Facilities + On-Call Bonuses

Are you an experienced engineer looking for a varied new role working within a rapidly growing company that offers excellent remuneration and additional training?

Do you want to work for a family feel like company, where your hard work will not go unnoticed?

This company are access platform specialists that have been established for over three decades. Providing expertise in modern access machinery that are designed for confined spaces and weight restricted areas, providing unique solutions to their expanding client list.

This role is a blend of workshop based servicing and refurbishment as well as on-site LOLER examinations and repairs. With most of the work based around London, but occasionally further afield, this role will suit an engineer who enjoys variety and travel.

The Role:

  • Servicing and refurbishing Access Equipment
  • Pre-delivery checks and inspections
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Outside customer LOLER inspections, servicing and repairs
  • Utilising all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary
  • Communicating effectively with customers and the Service Manager

The Person:

  • Mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background
  • CAP trained or equivalent desirable but not essential
  • Comfortable with occasional travel outside the London area
