Job Summary
Chromalox & Electrical Thermal Solution (ETS) Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the EMEAI region. Under the supervision of the Field Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning and repairing low & medium voltage electrical heaters.

This role requires regular international travel across the EMEAI region. Additionally, the Field Service Engineer will have sales responsibilities, advising customers on the best replacement products and selling service management contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning and repairing low & medium voltage electrical heaters
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for customers
- Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of electrical heating systems
- Advising customers on the best replacement products and solutions
- Selling service management contracts to customers
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Maintaining detailed records of service activities and customer interactions
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Carrying out design upgrades on obsolete equipment
- PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting

Qualifications
- BTEC National Diploma or equivalent (minimum) in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field service engineering, preferably with electrical process heaters and control systems/switchgear products
- Strong technical knowledge of low & medium voltage electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel domestically & internationally (>85% travel worldwide expected)
- Sales experience with ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electrical process heating and switchgear
- PLC / HMI knowledge across multiple systems
- Knowledge of the Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS) market and customer base
- Fluency in multiple languages
