Field Service Engineer DCS Systems
Introduction
Join Honeywell's Process Solutions team and help deliver innovative automation and control system solutions in Aberdeen. As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide technical support, maintenance, upgrades, and commissioning services while building strong customer relationships and ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Life Cycle Service & Support (LSS) activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and service profitability.
- Perform installation, configuration, commissioning, upgrades, migrations, and modifications of Honeywell Experion PKS, TPS/TDC300, and related control and safety systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, networking, and application issues, escalating where required to ensure rapid resolution.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying service improvements and business growth opportunities while actively supporting sales initiatives.
- Ensure safe and high-quality service delivery, adhering to Honeywell standards, customer requirements, and internal reporting and documentation processes.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in field service engineering and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, TPS/TDC300, networking, and related control systems is highly desirable.
- Degree, apprenticeship qualification, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working model with the flexibility to work from home and attend the Aberdeen office two days per week.
- Occasional offshore travel required for assignments of up to three weeks.
- All transportation, accommodation, and travel expenses for offshore assignments are fully covered.
