About the Job
We're looking for a Service Engineer based in Edinburgh. The Service Engineer role holds the responsibility for the technical support of our customers and resolution of ongoing issues when required.
You will deliver a quality and reliable service to our customers and colleagues, ensuring that reliability issues are dealt with in a timely manner, and any issues with van stock or training needs will be reported back to the Regional Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure agreed Franke UK Technical Standards and Processes are adhered to
- Be on call for weekend rota for Engineer Technical Assistance and reactive calls (1 every 6 weekends)
- Highlight technical skills gaps
- Highlight customer skills gaps
- Manage stock levels
- Handle customer relations at a site level
- Keep up to date with all company admin and training courses
- Report issues where Account Support is required due to ongoing customer issues
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding and experience in the remit of the Field Engineer role
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in the coffee machine or vending industry
- Competent using phones and laptops
- Excellent communications skills
- Personal integrity
- Skilled in analysing and prioritising
- Understanding when to inform and escalate issues
- Willingness to take on any other ad hoc duties that arise within the role
