Field Service Engineer (Electrical / Generators)

*** Full Training to Become a Generator Engineer ***

£38,000 - £42,000 + OTE £55k - £60k + Overtime (Enhanced Rates) + Company Bonus + Door-to-Door Pay + Training + Progression + Full Technical Package + Fuel Card

Location: Evesham

Are you an Engineer or Electrical Technician with experience on industrial power systems, generators or electrical systems?

Do you want a field-based role for a long-established industry leader offering full training, career progression, door-to-door pay and the chance to massively increase your earnings through enhanced overtime?

This company has been a cornerstone of the power generation industry since 1950, providing international rental, sales and service of generators and complete power systems. Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for a field service engineer Engineer to join their skilled team, supporting work across a small UK patch.

In this varied role, you will carry out installation, maintenance, fault-finding and commissioning of generator sets and associated power systems both from the own rental fleet and customers' equipment. You'll conduct surveys, respond to breakdowns and service visits, and receive ongoing training including mechanical development to become a fully rounded generator engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop specialist generator expertise while enjoying strong earning potential, long-term stability and progression with a respected, family-run business.

The Role:

  • Install, service, maintain and commission generator and power systems
  • Electrical surveys, diagnostics & breakdown response
  • Participate in call-out rota (24/7 business)
  • Ongoing technical training & development (electrical & mechanical)

The Person:

  • Strong electrical engineering background
  • Relevant electrical qualification (BTEC / C&G)
  • Valid UK driving license
