Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)

£39,500-£42,500 + Electrical Training + Overtime + Yearly Bonus + Company Van + Pension + Gym Membership + IPad

Are you a Forklift Engineer looking to move into a field-based role with a growing, independent company offering full product training, a company vehicle and genuine career progression?

You will be the 7th member of a growing team in the Northeast Region (Based in Cramlington) This company has a family-oriented culture and a continually growing customer base, meaning you'll have stability, and the support of a highly experienced team. This company pride themselves on providing ongoing training and progressing employees to senior roles. You will receive training on Electrical Forklifts, making you an expert.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of electrical and Diesel forklift trucks at customer sites across the Northeast and Occasional work onsite at the dealership.

This role will suit a Diesel Forklift engineer or similar looking for ongoing training, progression and a role that offers plenty of overtime to boost your earnings.

The role:

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Attending customer sites across the Northeast
  • Completing service reports and necessary paperwork
  • Managing your own van stock and tools
  • Providing a professional service to customer

8:00am-16:30pm with overtime available

The person:

  • Experienced Forklift Engineer
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working independently in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing your own workload
