Our Patient Solutions Team are proud to provide the wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS in Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our team.
The role
As Field Service Engineer, you will visit Service Users homes, Health Care Centres, Schools and other establishments to carry-out repairs to electric or manual wheelchairs.

Key duties
- Analysing, diagnosing faults, modifying and repairing wheelchairs and their controls.
- Carrying-out Planned Service Maintenance as agreed.
- Delivering, setting up and demonstrating equipment to Service User’s and carers.
- Providing clear communication to Service Users and Carers about their current repairs.
- Organising and Prioritising own caseload and appointments.
- Supporting the team general operations tasks.

- Experience of using hand tools and technical ability
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- Team working skills
- Flexible and adaptable
