Our Patient Solutions Team are proud to provide the wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS in Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our team.

The role

As Field Service Engineer, you will visit Service Users homes, Health Care Centres, Schools and other establishments to carry-out repairs to electric or manual wheelchairs.

Key duties

  • Analysing, diagnosing faults, modifying and repairing wheelchairs and their controls.
  • Carrying-out Planned Service Maintenance as agreed.
  • Delivering, setting up and demonstrating equipment to Service User’s and carers.
  • Providing clear communication to Service Users and Carers about their current repairs.
  • Organising and Prioritising own caseload and appointments.
  • Supporting the team general operations tasks.
