About This Role
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer, Forklift Engineer or Material Handling Engineer looking for your next opportunity? As a Field Service Engineer, you will service, diagnose and repair forklift trucks at customer and Dawsongroup Material Handling locations, working independently while delivering safe, high quality service.
- Diagnose, repair and service forklift trucks with minimal supervision.
- Examine equipment and report on its condition, repairs, parts used and time taken.
- Maintain strong relationships with designated customers while acting in the best interests of Dawsongroup.
- Follow health and safety requirements and maintain company tools, equipment and service vehicle.
About You
You will bring strong mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment and the confidence to work independently to a high standard. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly and is comfortable working across different systems and environments.

- Fully skilled engineer with experience across diesel, LPG, hydraulic and electronic systems.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A careful, responsible approach with a strong focus on safety.
