We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Midlands region. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success and growth.
Role Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of Bizerba to our valued retail clients, providing expert technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our industrial weighing and labelling equipment. Your ability to diagnose and resolve issues on-site will ensure minimal downtime for our customers and help maintain their trust in our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and professional on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Bizerba industrial weighing and labelling systems across retail environments.
- Diagnose technical faults accurately and efficiently, applying your expertise to minimise equipment downtime.
- Collaborate closely with the service team and customer support to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Support customer training and offer technical advice to enhance user knowledge and product utilisation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times in field operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role, preferably within the retail or industrial weighing and labelling sector.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of industrial equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the East Midlands region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused approach.
- Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline are advantageous.
- Experience with remote diagnostics and basic IT skills are beneficial.
