Field Service Engineer

Location: London & Surrounding Areas (Within the M25)

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 Basic (£52,000 OTE including overtime opportunities)

Looking for a role

Looking for a role where your technical skills are valued, your work makes a real impact, and you can represent a leading engineering team supporting some of the biggest names in hospitality?

Our client is a leading provider of refrigeration and catering equipment solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative products to clients. They pride themselves on their professional team and customer-focused approach.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing faults, repairing, and maintaining ice cream, milkshake, coffee, refrigeration, and catering equipment for major hospitality customers, including KFC. Around 20% of service calls involve refrigeration faults, with the remaining work focused on fault finding, repairs, and resolving equipment operating issues.

This is a Monday-Friday field-based role, with occasional weekend work required from time to time. The role offers door-to-door travel, covering London within the M25 area as part of a growing engineering team. Candidates should be based within a suitable commuting distance of London.

The role requires a flexible and proactive approach to delivering high-quality, cost-effective repairs and maintenance on a range of equipment supplied and serviced by the company.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
