A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Field Service Engineer - Mechanical, you will play a crucial role in supporting oil and gas production operations by providing technical assistance and expertise. You will implement production operational standards and coordinate the acquisition of production data, enabling the generation of insightful graphs and analyses of production trends. Your responsibilities may include onsite monitoring and testing, where you will make necessary adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborating with engineers and other technical staff, you will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our upstream operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and overhauls on Siemens gas turbines at customer sites.
  • Lead and supervise field service activities during planned and unplanned maintenance campaigns.
  • Execute work safely across onshore and offshore locations.
  • Support customers by identifying and resolving technical issues related to gas turbine operation and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to implement corrective actions and improve equipment reliability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing field insights and best practices.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Supervisor or similar role within the gas turbine industry.
  • Hands-on experience working on gas turbines, ideally Siemens SGT-100, SGT-200, SGT-300 or SGT-400 product ranges.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including offshore assignments and extended periods away from home.
  • Experience leading maintenance teams or acting as a Lead Engineer on customer sites.
  • Valid driving licence and ability to meet offshore certification and medical requirements.
