Field Service Engineer, £35,000 - £40,000, Days, 8am till 4pm (flexible on 9 hours a day)
Company van (Personal use), fuel card, door to door rate, overtime available at x1.5 and x2, 25 days holiday + bank holidays (including a day off for your birthday and Christmas Eve), pension, health insurance
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a UK manufacturer and service provider of industrial & laboratory weighing solutions. As a proud member of ‘Made in Britain' and ‘Made in the Midlands', UKAS & ISO 9001 certified along with SafeContracting approval for engineering integrity. My clients have a proven track record offering high-quality engineering services and manufacturing across Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, Manufacturing and Logistics markets.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be in a customer facing role. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing calibrations, service and maintenance on a range of weighing and measurement equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing clear solutions to the customer.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Maintain accurate service records, certificates and documentation.

The Person We're Looking For
To succeed in this role as a Field Service Engineer, you'll need:
- Experience in basic calibrations, service and maintenance on a range of weighing and measurement equipment.
- Be able to problem solve and use initiative - Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing clear solutions to the customer.
- Have strong customer facing skills.
- Understand compliance with ISO9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
- Be able to maintain accurate service records, certificates and documentation.
