The Role

This role is a full-time, office-based position.

We are looking for an additional field service engineer to join our busy service team, providing field service, technical support, software support, and remote support to our customers. This will involve extensive travel within the UK and Southern Ireland, but occasional European and international travel may also be required.

The position would suit someone looking to move from Semiconductor, Medical, or Laboratory work to a Field Service role, or someone with proven Field Service experience. This is a great opportunity to work with a customer-focused company supporting several niche product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Preventative maintenance, upgrades, fault diagnosis, and repairs of nuclear monitoring systems.
  • Remote support for technical queries or fixing of issues.
  • Scheduling and prioritizing of service jobs.
  • Preparation and sending of site reports to customers.
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks as required by the Service Director and Service Team Leader.
  • Workshop Support / Electrical Safety Testing.
  • Work within company ISO procedures.
  • Assist the Sales as required for Demonstrations, Pre and Post Sales support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
