Typically, this person will deliver a wide range of field services, including commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and retrofitting of VSD systems. As a member of our team, you will play an essential part in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of marine and offshore systems.

Duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer (VSDs):
- Diagnosing and repairing faults, including component-level repairs, and reactivating low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) drives, as well as their air- and liquid-cooled ancillary equipment.
- Procuring spare parts and managing the planning and scheduling of service work.
- Performing planned maintenance, overhauls, upgrades, and retrofits of VSD systems.
- Commissioning and bringing new and upgraded drive system installations online.
- Making modifications to existing drive system installations.
- Collaborating closely with the electrical and control systems design team to plan, design, and deliver both new and retrofit solutions for marine propulsion systems, offshore production systems, and offshore construction mission equipment.

Qualifications and requirement for the Field Service Engineer (VSDs):
- Extensive experience in the commissioning, servicing, repair, and retrofitting of LV and MV drives, specifically in marine applications.
- Familiarity with VSD systems from major manufacturers, such as ABB, Siemens, Danfoss (Vacon), and GE (Converteam).
- A full, clean driving license is essential.
- Offshore training (BOSIET) will be provided for offshore assignments.
- Willingness to travel internationally at short notice.
