Field Engineer for Electrical Power Control Solutions

Astute’s Power Team is partnering with a leading global specialist in electrical power control, critical power, UPS and energy storage solutions, to recruit a Field Engineer for its UK operations.

Responsibilities and duties of the Field Engineer role

As a Field Engineer, You Will

  • Perform installation and commissioning for electrical and power systems, including UPS, energy storage and critical power solutions.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues to support customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Consistently work to meet and exceed agreed performance benchmarks.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:

  • A strong background in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • An engineering education in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in field service, critical power or data centre environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in UPS systems, power electronics or similar technologies.
  • Strong diagnostic and technical problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
