Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Wiltshire

Salary: GBP 30,000 - GBP 40,000 Basic + Overtime + Company Van + Company Benefits Package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join an established service and repair company based in Wiltshire.

This organisation prides itself on delivering a high-quality, reliable service to its customers across the construction equipment industry, alongside being committed to investing in their people, creating a rewarding and friendly working environment.

This role would ideally suit someone at the early stages of their engineering career, particularly a candidate who has recently completed an engineering apprenticeship and is looking to build on their practical experience. Full product and manufacturer training will be provided, alongside genuine opportunities for long-term career progression, and continued skill development.

Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Carry out all service, repair and maintenance work on a range of lorry loader cranes and associated machinery
  • Carry out tests and inspections on all products
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostic testing on all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Manage own workload and work independently, providing high levels of customer service at all times
  • Working within the workshop, alongside attending breakdowns on customer sites.

Requirements Of Role

  • Hold an NVQ or City and Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (desirable)
  • Experience working on lorry loader cranes, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, forklifts, or similar construction machinery would be preferred
  • Full UK driving license
  • Positive attitude towards wanting to learn and develop
