Field Service Technician (Groundcare Equipment)

£32k per annum + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Worcestershire (Workshop & Field Based)

Are you an experienced Service Technician, Agricultural or Groundcare Engineer looking for your next challenge?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected groundcare machinery specialist, supporting customers across the region with the servicing, maintenance and repair of industry-leading equipment.

This is a varied role where you'll split your time between the workshop and customer sites, working on a wide range of professional machinery used by golf courses, local authorities, contractors, sports clubs and estates.

The Role

You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of specialist groundcare equipment, ensuring machines are operating safely and efficiently.

Equipment you'll work on includes commercial ride-on and pedestrian mowers, compact tractors and attachments, remote-controlled spider mowers and wood chippers.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Completing repairs and breakdown call-outs
  • Undertaking Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new machinery
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Delivering excellent customer service both in the workshop and on-site

We're looking for someone who has experience maintaining similar machinery and enjoys fault finding and problem solving. You'll ideally have experience servicing groundcare, agricultural, plant, construction or similar machinery, strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Applicants must have a full UK driving licence.
