Your role
You’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and diagnosing customer equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with our engineering and service teams while building positive relationships with our customers.
This role involves working both independently and as part of a team, with training and support provided as you grow in the role.
- Installing, servicing, and repairing air compressors, pipework, and related equipment
- Following manufacturer guidelines, drawings, and technical specifications
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs using appropriate tools and technical knowledge
- Communicating clearly with customers about work carried out, issues identified, and recommendations
- Demonstrating equipment operation where required
- Working closely with the Field Service Supervisor, Service Administrator, and Lead Engineer to coordinate jobs and resolve technical issues
- Keeping accurate service records and identifying parts required for repairs
- Feeding back customer insights and suggestions to help improve our products and services
- Keeping up to date with technical bulletins and engineering updates

To succeed, you will need

- Experience in a service engineering or technical environment
- A relevant technical qualification or practical experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to organise your workload and manage your time effectively
- A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office, Excel)
- Commercial awareness and confidence discussing technical matters
