Job Title: Field Service IT Support Engineer
Location: Derby, UK
Working Pattern: 5 days onsite – mandatory
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Eligibility: UK Citizens only
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Field Service / Deskside IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on onsite IT support in Derby. The role will involve supporting end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing incidents through ServiceNow, and ensuring timely resolution of Level 1/2 technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support.
- Troubleshoot Windows, O365, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Install and configure laptops, workstations, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support Windows deployments, upgrades, and software installation using SCCM/Software Center.
- Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and basic network issues.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user access, and folder permissions.
- Support Intune, AirWatch/MDM, and mobile device administration.
- Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow.
- Perform hardware break-fix, device refresh, IMAC, and asset lifecycle activities.
- Support conference room equipment and IP phones.
- Coordinate with vendors and Level 3 teams for escalated issues.
- Maintain knowledge articles, resolutions, and workarounds.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and operational procedures.
