As a Field Service Manager, You Will

  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage Field Service and Residential Engineering teams, ensuring capability, engagement, and service cover
  • Regularly visit customer sites to build strong relationships, identify opportunities for service improvements, drive upsell activity, and generate new business opportunities
  • Ensure safe, compliant service delivery aligned to customer, contractual, and health & safety requirements
  • Own operational and financial performance, including engineer utilisation, cost control, and SLA delivery
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through performance reviews, service updates, and improvement plans

What We Are Looking For From You

  • Experience managing field-based or site engineering teams in a service environment
  • Strong knowledge of cranes, conveyors, automated material handling equipment, and warehouse automation systems
  • Strong people leadership skills across geographically dispersed teams
  • Confident communication with engineers, customers, and senior stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness, including budgets, margins, and cost control
  • A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, C&G, ONC, HNC or similar)
