Job Summary:

The Field Service Manager is responsible for leading the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of Cameron Surface Wellhead and Christmas Tree services across onshore and offshore operations. You will oversee all aspects of service execution, ensuring the highest standards of safety, technical quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.

Acting as the focal point for service delivery, you will provide leadership throughout the job lifecycle, supporting drilling, completion, intervention, and workover activities while ensuring effective risk management, technical oversight, resource utilisation, and continuous improvement.

This role combines operational leadership with strong customer engagement, helping to drive business performance while developing a high-performing field service team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with HSSE standards, company procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Manage the safe and efficient delivery of Cameron Surface Wellhead and Christmas Tree services across a range of drilling, completion, intervention, and workover operations.
  • Provide technical oversight and approval for operational programmes, job execution plans, risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) processes, and operational readiness reviews.
  • Ensure equipment, personnel, and resources are effectively planned and deployed to meet customer requirements and operational objectives.
  • Support field teams with technical guidance, troubleshooting expertise, and escalation management during critical operations.
  • Conduct regular field visits to reinforce safety expectations, coach employees, assess operational performance, and support customer relationships.
  • Own the incident management process, leading investigations, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and sharing lessons learned across the organisation.
  • Drive service quality by ensuring compliance with standard work, equipment maintenance requirements, and operational best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring service delivery meets expectations and identifying opportunities to enhance operational performance.
  • Oversee contract execution and service delivery performance, ensuring operational commitments are achieved while supporting business objectives and resource utilisation targets.
  • Lead employee development through coaching, mentoring, competency progression, and performance management activities.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements:

  • Significant experience within the oil and gas industry in wellhead systems.
  • Proven experience leading field operations and developing high-performing teams in onshore and/or offshore environments.
  • Strong understanding of operational planning, service delivery, risk management, and HSSE requirements.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and delivering safe, high-quality operational outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support operational and customer needs.
