Job Summary:

The Field Service Specialist is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service support across a range of wellsite operations. This includes the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrieval of Cameron Surface Wellhead and Christmas Tree Systems, ensuring equipment integrity and reliable performance in both onshore and offshore environments.

Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will provide technical expertise throughout the service delivery process, helping to ensure safe operations, minimize downtime, and achieve successful customer outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot and retrieve Cameron Surface Wellhead and Christmas Tree Systems, along with associated ancillary equipment.
  • Support drilling, completion, intervention and workover operations by providing technical expertise on surface wellhead and pressure control equipment.
  • Carry out rig-up, rig-down, pressure testing and function testing activities, ensuring equipment integrity and operational readiness.
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) policies and procedures, ensuring work is carried out safely and compliantly at all times.
  • Inspect, service and repair wellhead components, identifying faults and implementing effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Cameron products.
  • Participate in job risk assessments, pre-job planning and continuous improvement initiatives to support safe and efficient service delivery.
  • Accurately document service activities, non-conformances and equipment performance using FSOs, Quest, InTouch and other reporting systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, contractors and internal teams to ensure successful execution of field operations.
  • Maintain technical competency through training and assessments while supporting the development and mentoring of less experienced technicians.
  • Complete service reports, timesheets and post-job debriefs in a timely manner.

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience as a wellhead technician
  • Willingness to travel, including potential support for activities outside the UK.
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business on high-value, technically complex products/projects.
