About the Role

Recycleye is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our small, hands-on support team. You'll be on the ground diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on our AI-powered sorting systems, deployed in live operational environments at waste management facilities across the UK and Europe. This is an entry-level, travel-intensive role, ideal for someone with a technical foundation who wants to build deep, practical experience with robotics, computer vision, and industrial systems in the field.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues on live, operational systems in waste management facilities
  • Communicate clearly and calmly with customers and internal teams during high-pressure incidents, providing structured updates from initial diagnosis through resolution
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring or novel faults and feed findings back to engineering
  • Carry out routine maintenance, installations, and system checks
  • Work independently on-site while staying closely coordinated with the wider support and engineering teams
  • Travel extensively (approx. 75%) to customer sites across the UK and Europe

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
