Role purpose

Join GRIDSERVE Network Operations as a Field Service Technician and support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our national EV charging estate and future OMM client sites. This is a practical field role supporting planned maintenance, reactive response, installation, inspection, commissioning and asset-care activities within assessed competence.


Candidate profile

  • Relevant Level 2 electrical, engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience
  • Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, construction, utilities, telecoms, automotive or similar technical environment
  • Basic understanding of electrical hazards, safe isolation principles and AC/DC electrical systems appropriate to the role
  • Able to follow technical instructions, drawings, checklists and safe systems of work
  • Full UK driving licence and ECS, CSCS or equivalent card, or ability to obtain one
  • Comfortable working outdoors, travelling regionally and using mobile work-order systems and evidence capture
