Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Field Service Technician role based in New England. The Field Service Technician will perform testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical infrastructure at customer locations, following safety standards and technical procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Conducting diagnostic tests on electrical equipment
- Documenting results
- Recommending corrective actions
- Troubleshooting system issues
- Installing or replacing components
- Collaborating with project managers and other technicians to complete service work on schedule

The technician will also maintain tools and test equipment, prepare service reports, and interact professionally with customers to explain findings and support ongoing reliability of their electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in electrical systems, including testing, maintenance, and repair of power distribution equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, applicable codes, and best practices for working on energized and de-energized equipment.
- Competence with field test instruments (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers, relay test sets, circuit analyzers) and related diagnostic tools.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in field environments with minimal supervision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting work, preparing reports, and interacting with customers and team members.
- Comfort working on-site at client facilities across New England, including travel, varying work environments, and occasional off-hours or weekend assignments.
- Relevant technical education or apprenticeship in electrical technology or a related field; licensing or certification as an electrician or technician is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to meet any customer site access requirements.
