About the role: As a Field Service Technician you will provide field services at nuclear power plant sites either operating or under construction, and service center operations, utilizing high technology service equipment and in a manner reflecting Westinghouse's commitment to the highest level of safety and quality. You will report to the Product Manager and be located at Springfields. Key Responsibilities:
Perform outage and outage related activities for training, preparation, execution, and closeout of outage projects Perform non-outage related activities such as customer or Westinghouse equipment refurbishment or repair, component upgrades, or troubleshooting at both customer and Westinghouse sites Supervise and lead crews before, during, and after outage and project work Become subject matter expert in I&C and fuel handling equipment systems Perform all assigned tasks under general supervision, with a high degree of quality, and within the parameters of qualified procedures and guidelines. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and document all quality related issues. Participate in performance‐based training programs to acquire and qualifications and certifications as well as keep current with technology. Participate in formal training to expand knowledge areas, skills, and expertise. Participate in on-the-job training in the field. Participate in safety training to acquire the skills and knowledge to perform work in hazardous environments and operate safety equipment and systems. Demonstrate the skills and ability to perform assigned job tasks independently. Lead by example with the highest degree of safety and quality Travel, access power plants, and interact with customers autonomously.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of nuclear experience preferred General knowledge of nuclear power plant operations, maintenance, and outage operations. Specific knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical curriculum as required, as well as knowledge of mathematics.Practitioner in a predetermined qualification or certification program.
