Our client, an established global manufacturing and engineering company, is currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join their Service and Maintenance team to cover from Crystal Palace to East Grinstead.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for travelling to customer sites and diagnosing faults with hydraulic pipework, wiring looms, interfacing parts, motors, and cables, etc.

Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Diagnosing faults and repairing machines ensuring our manufacturer’s standard level of repair
  • Installing equipment at customer sites
  • Quality checking and adjusting components or assemblies against required specification
  • Carrying out prescribed preventative maintenance including water filter changes and PSSR tests

As a customer-facing position, good manners and a friendly outlook are required.

Skills Required for the Field Service Engineer:

  • A background in Electro-mechanical repair is required
  • Previous experience of repairing and servicing White goods or Coffee Machines is desired
  • Driving License
