DiSYS Technologies specialises in the manufacture of intelligent fire and smoke damper control systems and monitoring solutions for customers in the UK and Ireland. The company’s DCS range of control panels provides real-time monitoring and control of dampers, helping clients maintain safety, reliability, and compliance across their facilities. DiSYS also offers advanced controller interface devices that track the status of key components in the damper control system and share this information across the network. As a technology-focused organisation, DiSYS supports building and safety professionals with robust, scalable solutions and ongoing technical innovation.
Role Description
The Field Services Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of DiSYS damper control systems. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Performing remote diagnostics
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Providing technical support to customers and partners
- Documenting service activities
- Ensuring that preventive maintenance schedules are followed to optimise system performance
- Collaborating with internal teams to escalate complex issues
- Contributing to service process improvements
- Delivering clear, professional customer communication

Qualifications
- Strong Field Service skills, including remote support for system installation, commissioning, and maintenance
- Solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in control and monitoring systems
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance to plan, perform, and document routine service activities that reduce downtime
- Excellent Customer Service skills for clear communication, issue resolution, and relationship management with clients and partners
- Relevant qualifications such as a technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or a related field are beneficial
- Experience with building management systems, safety or fire control systems, industrial networks, or control panels is an advantage
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple service tickets, and use digital tools for documentation and communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
