ON-SITE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (NIGHTS) – NATIONWIDE

KEY POINTS

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

ABOUT THE CLIENT

We're working with an established technology services organisation that delivers specialist IT installation and support projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an On-Site IT Support Technician to their field engineering team, working on overnight deployments at customer sites.

THE ON-SITE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN ROLE

As an On-Site IT Support Technician, you'll travel to customer locations across the UK to install and configure pre-built IT equipment, including servers, EPOS systems and payment terminals. Working overnight from 10:00pm, you'll complete one site installation per night, Monday to Thursday, with regular stays away from home where accommodation is provided. You'll also ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations while delivering a high standard of service.

ON-SITE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a field-based IT support or installation role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and IT hardware
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Happy to travel nationwide and stay away during the working week
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and working outdoors when required
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
