Field Services Engineer - Dental Equipment
Location: Field-based, candidate can be based anywhere within Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, or Northamptonshire
Our client is an established name in the dental sector, providing installation, servicing, and technical support for high-end dental instruments and equipment across the UK. As they continue to grow their national footprint, they're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their successful team covering the North/East Midlands region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically-minded engineer - ideally with a background in dentistry but also considering; electronics or pneumatics - to join a business that genuinely invests in training, development, and career progression within a niche, high-value sector.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing, fault-finding, servicing, and maintaining products across the business
- Providing technical support remotely (via various digital platforms) and through on-site customer visits
- Liaising daily with end-users and dealer technicians, offering both technical and sales support
- Managing your own diary to ensure full, consistent coverage of customers in your region
- Delivering 1-on-1 technical training and support to dealer partner technicians
- Producing clear, timely technical reports detailing all work carried out
- Actively managing your van stock on a daily basis
- Supporting the wider growth and direction of the business both regionally and nationally
- Maintaining quality systems and processes in line with ISO standards
- Attending technical training courses as required to keep your skills current

What we're looking for:
- A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
- Field service experience is preferable, but not essential
- A background in dental engineering, electronics, or pneumatics would be a strong advantage
- Prior fault-finding experience within a field service environment is a plus
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own diary and workload
- Strong communication skills - you'll be the technical face of the business for customers and dealer partners alike
