Role Description

The Field Services Engineer is a full-time role based in London as a walking engineer. The role involves visiting client sites to install, maintain, and repair PC and print equipment, ensuring systems are operating effectively and efficiently. Day-to-day activities include:

The Field Services Engineer will respond to service requests, provide technical support, and accurately document work performed in line with company standards. The role also requires clear communication with clients, delivering professional customer service, providing practical advice, and escalating complex issues when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Strong Field Service and Preventive Maintenance skills for PC and print equipment.
  • Solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and manage client expectations.
  • Relevant experience working with IT hardware, printers, and related peripherals in a business environment.
  • Ability to travel to client sites, manage time effectively, and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accurate documentation practices.
  • Professional certifications in IT support, printer maintenance, or related fields are beneficial.
