Field Service Engineer
Role Type: Permanent
Location: Home-based (within one hour of Chippenham) with nationwide travel
Working Pattern: 4 days on / 3 days off or 5 days on / 2 days off
The Opportunity
ARCA Consulting is recruiting on behalf of an innovative UK engineering business developing cutting-edge low-carbon heating technology.
We're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of domestic heating systems across the UK. This role involves extensive travel, including occasional overnight stays, with the opportunity to progress into a regional position as the business continues to grow.

- Diagnose, service and repair domestic heating systems.
- Support installers during product installations and commissioning.
- Deliver technical training to installation partners.
- Work closely with the Technical Support team to resolve customer issues.
- Maintain accurate digital service records and represent the business professionally on site.
About You
You'll have experience installing and servicing domestic heating products such as gas boilers, electric boilers, heat pumps or similar technologies, along with strong fault-finding skills and excellent customer service.
You'll also have:
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good IT skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage a nationwide workload.
Relevant industry qualifications such as CCN1, NVQ Level 2/3, Part P or MCS certification are advantageous.
