About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Field Service & Calibration Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation supplying instrumentation, valves, controls, calibration services, and engineering solutions to a range of industrial sectors across the UK.
This is a home-based role requiring travel to customer sites throughout the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role within the engineering team, undertaking the servicing, maintenance and calibration of Steam & Water Analysis systems, primarily within the power generation sector.
In addition, you will support customers across a variety of process industries by providing on-site calibration services, troubleshooting, maintenance and technical support across a broad range of process measurement technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and calibrate Steam & Water Analysis systems at customer sites.
- Carry out on-site calibration and validation of process instrumentation and analytical equipment.
- Inspect, strip, clean, repair and replace mechanical and instrumentation components as required.
- Use portable calibration and test equipment to verify system performance.
- Diagnose faults and provide technical support to customers.
- Complete detailed service reports and calibration documentation in line with quality assurance procedures.
- Work safely within highly regulated industrial environments.
- Travel extensively throughout the UK to support customer requirements.

Skills & Experience
- Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to work within regulated industrial environments.
- Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Process instrumentation, Process analysers, Industrial instrumentation systems, Temperature, pressure & process measurement equipment, Portable calibration and test equipment.
- Experience working in industries such as Power generation, Water treatment, Steam systems, Process manufacturing, Waste-to-energy facilities, Chemical processing or other industrial process environments.
