Role Description

The Field Services Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting customers on-site and virtually across clean air and mechanical engineering systems. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Performing inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, and commissioning of LEV and ventilation systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and technical issues
  • Providing technical support

The role also involves:

  • Collaborating on system upgrades

  • Ensuring work complies with relevant standards and safety requirements

The individual will work independently, manage their schedule, and maintain strong customer relationships through professional, responsive service.

Qualifications

  • Field Service and Preventive Maintenance skills to perform on-site inspections, scheduled maintenance, and system commissioning.
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and guide customers through technical challenges.
  • Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term, professional relationships with clients.
  • Experience or knowledge in clean air systems, LEV testing, ventilation, or mechanical engineering environments.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently, organize workloads, and travel to customer sites as required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and consultation activities.
  • Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, ventilation, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Understanding of health and safety practices and regulatory standards applicable to clean air and mechanical systems.
