📍 Essex & Norfolk
💰 £21.00–£24.00 per hour
🚐 Company Vehicle Provided
⏰ 40 Hours Per Week
💷 Overtime paid at Time & 1/3
Are you an experienced Field Engineer / Plant Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We're currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with a growing machinery business operating across the construction, forestry and recycling sectors.
This is a genuinely varied role, working on construction machinery, including:
🔧 Telehandlers
🔧 Rollers
🔧 Mini Diggers
🔧 Construction & Heavy Plant Machinery
You'll also get exposure to a range of different engines, including Kubota, Yanmar and more, making this a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys fault finding and working on different types of equipment.
🛠️ What will you be doing?
As a Field Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
✅ Servicing and maintaining machinery

✅ Mechanical, hydraulic & electrical fault finding
✅ Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns
✅ Reading electrical & hydraulic schematics
✅ Completing planned maintenance and PDI work
✅ Producing accurate service and repair reports
✅ Working directly with customers on site
✅ Identifying parts required for repairs
✅ Working closely with the wider engineering team
✅ Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
👷 What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is technically strong but also a great team player.
You might currently be working as a:
🔹 Field Engineer
🔹 Plant Engineer
🔹 Heavy Plant Engineer
🔹 Agricultural Engineer
🔹 Mobile Engineer
🔹 Construction Machinery Engineer
