Join Our Growing Downhole Solutions Team
With more than 50 years of experience and operations in 30 countries, Odfjell Technology is seeking experienced Field Supervisors to support our growing Downhole Solutions operations in Norway and the UK, with opportunities to work internationally across our global network.
As a Field Supervisor, you will lead the safe and efficient execution of complex fishing, milling, cutting, pulling, sidetracking, well intervention, slot recovery, and P&A operations. Acting as Odfjell Technology's representative in the field, you will work closely with customers, engineers, operations teams, and workshop personnel to deliver innovative solutions and outstanding operational performance.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on some of the industry's most challenging well operations while contributing to the continued growth and development of our Downhole Solutions business.

What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Hands-on experience with downhole tools and well intervention operations
- A proactive approach to safety, quality, and service delivery
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- A commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise downhole operations at customer locations
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all activities
- Prepare, inspect, mobilise, and operate downhole equipment
- Provide technical support and operational guidance to customers and crews
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Workshop teams
- Complete operational reports and post-job documentation
- Support the introduction and deployment of new technologies and services
Qualifications
Field experience in following areas:
- Fishing (BHA components, junk and debris recovery)
- Casing removal (casing, liner, packer, and section milling)
- Sidetracking (cased hole and open hole whipstocks)
- Casing and tubing recovery (cutting and pulling)
- Well intervention and P&A operations

Additional requirements:
- Leadership experience in field operations
- Strong HSE and risk management awareness
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational challenges
- Customer-facing experience
- Offshore certifications as required
